What Does That Mean?

I keep getting this urge, usually late at night, to shave my head. What the fuck is that all about?

I know you're used to much longer posts from me, but I honestly think that was enough for this particular topic. Instead, I'll give you a link to a really interesting article that takes a slightly different look at Sarah Palin than we're used to getting from either the Republican love fest or the Democrat hate fest. The second page actually has a very interesting fact about Palin and gay rights.

  1. I hope I don't get home from work to see the next post looks something like this:

Well, when I came home from school my head started to get really hot. So I drank some cold water, but it didn't do nothing. So I laid in the bathtub for a while, but then I realized that it was my hair that was making my head hot. So I went into my kitchen and I shaved it all off. I don't want anyone to see.

  2. Has your hair been thinning? Because I think that's why men usually shave their heads once they are past the army entering age.

  3. Hank: You and I have the same hopes and dreams.

Julie: I'm not past army entering age! My hair is thinning, but I think it's more of a side effect of really wanting a major change and being stuck.

  4. Thanks. I was totally picturing Jacob as Pedro in different scenes from the movie for at least half an hour after I read this post.

  5. If you shave your head, I'll totally make a "Vote for Jacob" shirt and wear it around.

  6. Sadly, I admit that I've considered the same -- precisely because of thinning. I'm pretty sure I won't do it. Maybe a tight buzz cut if I get really annoyed by the thinning.

The Slate article was very interesting, although I'm not sure it was really about Sarah Palin so much.
