All That Was Missing Was the Steel Cage

This is a partially fictionalized retelling of an event. I'm working on a bit for the stand-up comedian act that I'll never actually do.

Have you ever thought about kicking puppies? I do. I know this one puppy who sucks. I wish it were legal to kick him right in his stupid puppy face.

  1. Jeez. I wouldn't even begin to know how to handle a kid like that. Good for you for keeping your cool, as I undoubtedly would have screamed and run for my life, leaving the other little hoodlums to fend for themselves.

  2. Wait- what's the punchline?

As long as you're partially fictionalizing, I say you give us a good chair-fighting scene.

  3. I think you should stick with "fictionalized" no matter what - most parents wouldn't want to know that teachers could (and would) make stand-up routines out of their kids daily lives.

  4. Julie, I think you're reading a little too much into the symbolism of the joke.
