The deputy of the Lord's Resistance Army is missing and assumed dead, along with his wife and children, by international authorities. The LRA is a rebel group in Uganda and is known for it's brutality, cutting off the limbs of civilians, kidnapping of children for child soldiers and sex slaves, and other cute and cuddly activities. The scene has been looking up there for a while, the LRA even sending a group to refugee camps to personally apologize for the atrocities they committed during the heat of their conflict with the government of Uganda.
The weird part about this story is that the LRA says that Vincent Otti has just been sick recently and his phone was changed for security reasons so he couldn't be tracked with government sources. What ailment did they say he was suffering from? Cholera. Yep, he's got a really bad case of diarrhea. Or at least that's what they want you to believe. The sad fact is that this is a perfectly reasonable story for large parts of the African continent. A disease that is almost entirely absent from several continents is still relatively common in Africa. It makes a perfectly reasonable explanation for his death should it become something they can no longer hide.
But still, what better to disgrace your enemies (he apparently fell foul with his boss in the LRA) than to be able to announce that his demise came from his pooping himself to death.

Remember the computer game The Oregon Trail from elementary school? I always died of cholera before I made it to Oregon. That really pissed my 8-year-old self off.
