An Epic Story of Loss and Redemption

There's this dude, you see. His name is Bob. Bob has no feet. Bob may have to walk with prosthetics and crutches, but Bob is lucky. Bob can't get athlete's foot, and that's all that matters in the world.

The moral of this story is that it's better to be without feet than to be with feet with fungus.

I think Bob was once an ultra-fundamental Bible-believer.

So when he read Jesus' teaching about plucking out your eye if it offends you and cutting off your hand if it offends you, he took one look at his itchy, burning, rash-covered feet and dug out the largest, sharpest knife in his kitchen.
