Luckily it stopped raining today so the roads weren't too rough to get out. K and I dropped the kid off with his grandparents and went out for a dinner and a movie. We saw Role Models, which, as has been said on a couple of the blogs on my blogroll, is pretty good. There were some really funny lines in there. The movie won't stick in my memory like some of the classic comedies of all time, but it definitely wasn't a waste of the money for the ticket either. I'm going to have to remember that "whispering eye" line to use on K later.
Now it's off to bed. We get to sleep in tomorrow because the kid spent the night with his parents. They'll take him to church and we can sleep until noon. More than likely, we'll still be up by 7:30 a.m. just out of habit. I guess it's true that people get lamer with age.

Congratulations on convincing your wife to go on a date with you?
Definitely true. I'm lamer by the day.
Hee. Whispering eye.
Just be sure to giggle uncontrollably while saying, "It means vagina!" over and over again.
What a coincidence! Meaghan and I also saw Role Models on Saturday. We got a lot of good laughs out of, while unfortunately most of our fellow movie-goers sat silently.
Our child, being not quite born, came along with us. Hopefully his first word won't start with an F.
