I Don't Think Teeth Are Supposed to Be There

An Australian rugby player was having some issues with eye pain and infection and it turned out to be another player's tooth embedded in his head. How badass is that? He's had someone else's tooth in his face for more than three months and just now finds out about it.

The really weird part is that this isn't all that bizarre of an occurence. According to the article linked above, Ben Czislowski joins an exclusive club that includes Shane Millard, who had a tooth removed from his head in 2004, and Jamie Ainscough, who almost had his arm amputated because of an infection until a tooth was discovered buried in the limb in 2002.

Yeah, rugby is a violent sport, but having watched top level international play for five years on a regular basis, it doesn't seem that rugby players get hurt anymore frequently than the heavily protected American football players. Although there's more blood given the near complete lack of pads and more exposed skin.
