I'm not going to go into any more details for fear of jinxing myself on this one. Hopefully, I'll be able to tell you more next week. Now I sit and wait for the comments to pile up.

My original post was some long and serious about Barack Obama's potential to turn the South blue in the fall. I think I can sum it up for you in one sentence. Obama, being as black as he is white, has a potential to really motivate black democrats, a group that has tended to have very low voter turnout, and given that Obama seems to have a gift for instilling passion into his followers and generally low voter turnout in several Southern states, a smart Democratic party could conceivably generate enough voter mobilization to outweigh the suburban neocons and rural rednecks to pull off some major upsets in the sub-Mason-Dixon states.

Yeah, that really didn't need a full 600 words, did it?

Oh, and for Mickey and any other comment whores (self-proclaimed or not), apparently if you point out how your regular commenters are different in their habits and how they can't make up for others currently less present, you get at least two posts per person. I think five people managed to stick up 20 comments on that post.
