You're So Lame

I wanted to say that the sky was a painting, the clouds grand surrealist brush strokes mixing with Rembrandt light, but everyone uses that metaphor of the sunset as art. I won't let myself make that tired old figure of speech. I'm too self conscious, too worried that I'll be seen as just another derivative hack.

Instead I'll just say this: The sky is cliché.
